Brightword

Support

We’re glad to help.

Write to us

Email support@getbrightword.com. The easiest way is from the app: open Brightword and tap Settings > Contact support. The email it starts already includes your app version, iOS version and device, so you only need to tell us what happened. A real person reads every message.

Adding the widget

In Brightword, Settings > How to add the widget walks you through it. In short: touch and hold the Brightword icon on your Home Screen and tap a widget size. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, tap the area below the clock and pick Brightword.

Restoring a purchase

Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so they come back on any iPhone signed in with it.

  1. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to buy.
  2. Open Brightword and go to Settings, then tap Get Brightword Pro (or Try Brightword Pro free) at the top.
  3. Tap Restore at the bottom of the page.

Have an offer code? Use Settings > Redeem a code.

Cancelling a subscription

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Brightword.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

In Brightword, Settings > Manage subscription takes you to the same place. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.

Asking for a refund

Apple handles every payment and decides refunds. In Brightword, tap Settings > Request a refund, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

Turning analytics on or off

Go to Settings > Help improve Brightword in the app. Everything in Brightword works the same either way. What it covers is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data

We’ll confirm by email when it’s done. Deleting data doesn’t cancel a subscription.

Reminders not showing up

Check the iPhone Settings app under Notifications > Brightword and make sure notifications are allowed, and that a Focus isn’t silencing them. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone, so opening Brightword now and then keeps them up to date.
